Activities contributing to Utsunomiya city

In terms of crime prevention, Sakata Shinbun - Ten entered into a memorandum for developing a safe town with 3 police stations in Utsunomiya in July 2005. We have banded closely with the police to assist with crime deterrent in Utsunomiya.

For Sports

The Sakata Shinbun-ten is supporting those who participate in sports.

In order to contribute to the development of the local area and to the future of our children, we at Sakata Shinbun-ten are supporting various sport teams within the prefecture, in the belief that the energy of local sports would lead to a lift in the local ecosystem.
We believe that the city of Utsunomiya will grow to be even more attractive if people inside and outside of the prefecture may have interest in sport teams in Tochigi and come visit Utsunomiya.
